Okrs (objectives and key results) . Okr is a methodology used by major companies around the world, including microsoft, google, spotify, airbnb , among others. Okrs are already part of our culture and all people and teams in the company are guided by them. Our board shares with each area what the “os” (objectives) are that the Country Email List company will work on that quarter and according to this strategic direction, each squad creates its “krs” (key result). The objective of opportunity discovery is through okrs (expected results) to discover what problems we need to solve and for whom . In turn, these problems need to be resolved so that we can impact our desired results (krs). Within this context we work with hypotheses , which we validate in research with the target audience. Our research methodologies are diverse, we work with analysis of behavioral data on the platform, interviews with experts on the subject/market, feedback from blip ideas , questionnaires, dynamics, among others.
When we complete our research, we learn what problems we need to solve and for whom those problems need to be solved. This work allows us to affirm that we will impact our desired results (krs). During this understanding, we build our product vision . As we do our research, we raise several issues that can be resolved to achieve a result. Therefore, each of these problems becomes an opportunity to achieve that result. To facilitate analysis, we put all these opportunities in an opportunity tree . Solution discovery the goal of solution discovery is to validate viable solutions to problem opportunities discovered in opportunity discovery . Now that we know what problems we need to solve and for whom, it's time to think about solutions to these problems. To reduce confirmation bias and ensure the best solutions, it is important that multiple solutions are generated and put into perspective. The solutions generated at this stage go to our opportunity tree. Before committing to a solution, we need to validate that it is really solving our problem in the best possible way . We carry out a validation with the most promising solutions generated in the previous step.
This validation is done through an experiment plan, which is also added to our opportunity tree, which currently has its final structure: discovery opportunity tree – blip in these experiments we use various types of validation, the most common are prototype tests , but we also work with landing pages, fake buttons, campaigns, among others. The effort at this stage compared to the entire development process is low, which is why we call it mvp testing. These tests are carried out with people who use the take blip platform in their daily lives, if you are one of them, you can participate in these validations and help us build an even better product . Furthermore, those who participate in these tests guarantee early access to new features launched on the platform. Based on the experimentation data, the team decides whether to continue with any of the tested solutions and, if so, what the solution strategy will be. This moment is called the go/no-go decision . Whatever is “go” will go to our next phase of the development process, delivery . Which will be our next topic covered. If you work in the world of product development and are interested in our way of working, we always have open positions! With this entire discovery process in place, it is no coincidence that our customers are increasingly satisfied when using take blip.
